Catching up

It's been awhile. Not even sure if there is anyone out there that would notice. I hope you all haven't given up on me.
There has been A LOT going on in my life recently. I won't give gory details just yet, since there is all sorts of people that get their panties in a wad about confidentiality. But, there are big changes for me with my work.
So, I just updated my movie reviews with the latest 3 films I've seen in the last 2.5 weeks.
Wimbledon
Cellular
and Sky Captain

I enjoyed Wimbledon and Cellular. Sky Captain was a waste of 2 hours. What a dog! I actually 'hated' that movie. I was curious because it looked sooo different. I should have gone with my gut instinct and left it alone.

Presidential debates are tonight. YAWN. I don't care anymore. It's more of a distraction to me now than anything. I have 3 shows "Tivoed" that I'm gonna catch up on. Yeah, I know, duty to society etc. BLAH BLAH BLAH. I'm so sick of it all. It can't get over soon enough for me. I can't wait for John Kerry to disappear into the ethersphere like ol Al what's his name.

Your Mommy Kills Animals!!!

I ran across this ad on the back cover of US News and World Report. I didn't believe it at first, but it's true.
The mommy killing the bunny comic book is actually something PETA distributes. I knew these people were nuts but this is just crazy, crazy, crazy. It nearly traumatized my daughter when she saw the ad. I told her I was going to put this on the web to warn other parents. She has been bugging me to do it ever since. "Dad, you have to put this on the web! So kids will know that Mommies don't really kill bunnies like this!" And she's right. Even with the killing of animals to get pelts for fur coats, Mommies aren't killing bunnies like this! I think PETA has gone waaaay too far here.

I just had to write again. I just learned a new word. I think it might be African. Maybe you know it.

You use it when your head is about to explode from too many stupid people being around you. It's supposed to help you calm down.
I told you last time I wrote about our upcoming elections. It sure does bring out the worst in people. There are thousands of people 'protesting' in New York City right now. New York is our biggest city. 8 million people live there. I bet you've never seen anything like that! There is a big political convention in New York this week. A convention is a big party where people from all over our country come together to pat themselves on the back and tell each other how right they are. Oh, and then afterword they go out and get drunk.
These protesters are funny. They are against the people 'partying' in New York and they are for, uh, well, I can't really tell what they are for, but you sure can tell they are against our President.
Well, uh anyway, I wanted to give you an update on our election and tell you a little bit about what life is like in America. Maybe you could come and visit someday!
