That's a lot of dough for a cuppa beer. Some people's children, sheesh.

Inspiripics

So, now that the shackles of the violent and offensive games industry are off, I have started my own company. It's called Inspiripics and you can see what it's all about at:
http://www.inspiripics.com

This is my effort to bring good things into this world. I spent 5+ years working to bring bad, offensive morally valueless crap into the world and now I am trying to make up for it.
I think deep down inside we all want to see good things. Too bad Hollywood and the games industry are convinced otherwise. I wanted so bad to do something meaningful. Now by creating inspirational images and artwork I feel that I am doing something meaningful each day.
I will have a link on my sidebar soon so that you can find Inspiripics anytime you want.
So, let me know what you think. You can send me your feedback at info@inspiripics.com.

Sayonara Microsoft!!!

Big news! Most of you already know about this but now I can finally talk openly.
My last official day at Microsoft was this Wednesday. Yes, we parted ways. My game studio here in SLC was bought out by a big bad ugly game company called !@%!*. I still think they are trying to keep this info secret. Whatever. No one cares, hello! What's funny is that I got slammed for supposedly having loose lips about this 'secret'. I haven't overtly said anything about this until now. Anyway, the new guys make some of the most offensive games put out on the market. Not a place I want to be associated with. Lucky for me they didn't want to be associated with me anymore so I got a severance package. That was a blessing. Much better than just quitting cold turkey.
What is really ironic is that I turned down a job offer by this company earlier this year during my year long quest to leave MS.
So, so long MS. I had several years working for the MAN. I was part of the evil empire etc. I had 'some' good times, but really, it was all a nightmare. I have now woken up and I am happier than I have been in years. Thanks MS, for booting me out the door and helping me to breathe the sweet air of freedom.
Of course, freedom comes with a price as our brothers in Iraq are finding out right now. My MS stress has been replaced with a 'self-employed' stress but it feels oh SO much different. Check out my next post to see what I have been up to and the direction I am going.

Up on the roof...

I've been spending a lot of time lately on the roof with my pops. Leaky roofs suck.
After hundreds of shingle nails hammered in I've managed to mangle my thumb only once.
That's a pretty good cursing to nailing ratio there.

Worldometers

This site is cool. You have to check it out.
It is a little sobering if you sit and watch some of the meters count up, up and up.
Pay special attention to how many people were born just today.

(Thanks to HockeyGuy for posting this first. I just had to share!)

Incredible!

The last few days have truly been 'incredible' for Clariticity and family.
We went on vacation to SoCal and spent some great time with family.
As you can see from today's 'Beauticity' you never know who you're going to run into in Southern California. Incredible.
Incredible. Bush wins. Kerry's first quote after admitting a crushing defeat was,
"Let the healing begin." What an idiot. He didn't mean it this way but the healing can begin now that he is out of the picture. We don't have to listen to his drone anymore. We don't have to listen to his lies and his crap. Amen brother! Let the healing begin!!! Incredible.
