Slingbox

Slingbox.
Ok, this is very cool. Slingbox is a device that allows you to broadcast over the net to ANY connected PC whatever is coming through your Satellite/Cable/TiVo pipe in your house. The possibilities are mind boggling. It is a little pricey but I still want one!

So I wonder how many people have internet sites up now broadcasting from their TiVos. Can you only broadcast the current channel or how does that work?

You have complete control over your Tivo from the sling player. The remote codes for your tivo, and many of the DVD players are programmed into the player so you can control these machines just as you would if you were in the same room. You can download the player on as many computers as you like and hook up just about any audio/video device you can think of.
