Shark bait - WOOF!

It seems some fishermen on a small island in the Indian Ocean have been using live dogs as bait for shark fishing. No it is not an urban legend or a joke. It's true. And the French who own the island are outraged! (as a side note, look what it takes for the French to be outraged!) Read the details HERE.
I'm outraged as well. I can't imagine the inhumane actions these fishermen have taken. It is barbarous. Maybe they should be used for live shark bait in punishment.
Now, if they had used cats on the other hand... ;)
