Cricket Spitting I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't read the article myself. It's real. It's competitive. It's Stupid!
People gather from all over the country at least twice a year to compete in how far you can 'spit' a dead cricket.
It's serious business. There are four officials to monitor the accurate and fair play of the competition. There are rules, "The crickets are to be Brown House crickets, weighing between 45 and 55 milligrams." Another rule reads: "Crickets should be previously frozen, then thawed for the record attempt."
Yet another entry into the "People that have waaay too much time on their hands" Hall of Shame.
