School's Out!!!

School is out for the summer!
It's time for 'night games' and camping out in 'Carter Meadows', summer films and water balloon fights.
The kids are excited to be out for the summer and the parents are excited too. Well, maybe only for a few days and then we'll wish they were back in school. (just kidding) (really!)
Memorial Day (rainy), 4th of July, visit from the Guad crew and plenty of sunshine are on the schedule this year.
We'll be off to see about a dozen parades this summer as KJ joins the Lone Peak High School marching band. I have plans for some water balloon action of my own during some of these parades. Shhhh, don't say anything. Shelby is looking forward to being outside with new found friends all summer long.
Mom is busy planning the kids schedules out and working the business.
And, Dad is busy waiting for some actual good movies to show up at the local cineplex. SWIII was a huge dud and the Longest Yard was well, just about the longest movie of the year. Don't see it unless you are a huge Adam Sandler fan. Cuz that kool aid is the only thing that will keep you from realizing what a waste of 2 hours you just invested. I mean how stupid is it to kill off your funniest character half way through the movie!!!???!!! Ooops, uh, now what do we do? Uh, hey Adam make another huge black guy look stupid! Hah! That was sooo funny, do it again and again and again and again. You get the point. I might just have to resort to renting 'Dodgeball' soon if the movies don't improve.
Yes, school's out and we're ready to rock the summer!
