Clear the Streets!

Well, it's finally happened. See pic below...

KJ finally got the elusive drivers license. He wasn't in a hurry and finally has it at 17 years old. He was so busy the last year that it just took till now to get everything done. I can't say I'm upset by the delay ;) I think he is much more capable and mature a driver now than he was at 16. I wish we could change the official age to 17 or even 18. Although we've been getting sick of driving him around and now he can just take himself so really it is a good thing. Yes, I'm having trouble coming up with something clever to say.
Anyway here are some other pics that his proud Mother took at the big final event at the DMV.
If anyone has an extra car hanging around they don't need for the next year and a half I'm sure KJ would love to take it off of your hands ;)

A BIG congrats. That is so cool that Mom was there to capture it all on pictures.

Wow. Having him actually drive me somewhere was bad enough... now he's driving on his own!? I feel so freakin old.

That can't be the DMV... she's white, smiling, and under 500lbs. I suppose you're going to tell me there's no one changing a diaper on the floor either! Sorry, you haven't been to the DMV until you've lived in California

Congrats to KJ - So much for the local girls, the State of Utah is HIS.

Hallelujah!

Remember what I've always said about paybacks Kevin.
