Clickin it Old School

Looks like technology hasn't progressed all that far maybe.

That's awesome.

It's always been amazing to me how they can distinguish morse code so quickly. I guess once you get your ear trained properly it should be easy, but still...it's insane to listen to, especially at that kind of speed.

On a semi-related note, in Disneyland, by the New Orleans station (I think that's the one), there's morse code tapping in the background and (supposedly) it's actually tapping out Walt's opening address. Kind of fun. Would be more fun if I could understand it. ;)

Love it! My dad told me a story when i was really young about company looking for a guy to do morse for their company. While the candidates went in and out, he kept tapping the message with his pencil (something like) "if you want the job, tell me what i'm tapping". After sitting of people going in and out, one guy finally stood up, went in (much to the shagrin(sp?) of the others ahead in line) and got the job.

wish i could find the story somewhere.
